Numerous events are scheduled to honor APIDA Heritage Month at Oklahoma State university. The Office of Multicultural Affairs as well as various student organizations, colleges and campus units will be hosting programs. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us.

Below is a list of events, programs and meetings in honor of APIDA Month at OSU. The University community is encouraged to send programs to be included on this list to Joyce Crawford, coordinator of Asian American Affairs, or Jillian McGee, Department of Brand Management. The list will be updated as more information is made available.
April 2
Mr. and Miss Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant 2023

Please join us as we celebrate Asian Pacific Islander and Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month with our signature event, the Mr. & Miss Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant. The event will take place in person and also be livestreamed on Inside OSU. Both virtual and in-person audiences will vote for the winner of People's Choice Award.
APIDA Scholars Go Global

Halika Dito! Taste Filipino Culture

Join us to enjoy Filipino cuisine and games. This is a free, come-and-go event. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cups for self-serving refreshments.
Reading Club: Exploring APIDA Heritage

Learn about APIDA experiences. Interact with attendees about APIDA topics and issues in meaningful and respectful conversations. Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cup for self-serve refreshments.
Conversations about Multiculturalism: The Space of Multiculturalism/Multiethnicity

Engage in conversations with panelists to learn about their experiences around flowing in multicultural worlds. Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cups for self-serve refreshments.

Ramen Night

Eid Mubarak Celebration

Celebrate Eid with cuisine and gifts. This is a free event, and food and gifts are limited and will available on a first-come and first-served basis. This event is come-and-go. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cup for self-serve refreshments.
