of TRIO and Sponsored Research Programs looks forward to helping all program participants
reach their educational goals.
Message from the Associate Vice President
We proudly hosts several outreach and comprehensive support services program to assist
first-generation, low-income or otherwise underrepresented students in higher education,
including students with disabilities.
Orange Strides: A TRIO Talent Search Project (formerly Talent Search) is a college
and career preparatory program designed to provide academic skills and motivation
for students who are interested in pursuing an educational program beyond high school.
The OK-LSAMP initiative supports historically underrepresented students in STEM. This
program is limited to a select and highly committed group of students with a declared
major in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the pre-health professions.
Dr. Jason F. Kirksey, chief diversity officer and vice president for Institutional Diversity at Oklahoma State University, was awarded the Diamond Award Excellence in Education Leadership, Diversity | Equality | Inclusion, Humanitarian & Community Engagement by The Not Alone Foundation, Inc. and The Academy of the Diamond Awards.
