of TRIO and Sponsored Research Programs looks forward to helping all program participants
reach their educational goals.
Message from the Associate Vice President
We proudly hosts several outreach and comprehensive support services program to assist
first-generation, low-income or otherwise underrepresented students in higher education,
including students with disabilities.
Upward Bound is a college preparatory program designed to provide academic skills
and motivation for students who are interested in pursuing an educational program
beyond high school.
Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded TRIO program that allows selected
educational institutions or agencies to provide fundamental support to students at
the college level.
The McNair Scholars program is a federally funded TRIO Program that provides encouragement,
guidance, and mentorship to underrepresented students in preparation for graduate
school.
Talent Search (TS) is a college preparatory program designed to provide academic skills
and motivation for students who are interested in pursuing an educational program
beyond high school.
The OK-LSAMP initiative supports historically underrepresented students in STEM. This
program is limited to a select and highly committed group of students with a declared
major in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the pre-health professions.
The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. by participating in several activities and events held in the community and at Oklahoma State University.
Members of the Stillwater and OSU communities are planning a celebration to honor the late Earl and Bernice Mitchell for their impact, both academically at OSU and through their civic contributions.
