Keynote speaker for an international conference
Linzi Thompson, ECU environmental science and chemistry major, has already become
an expert in her field and has been sought out as a keynote speaker for an international
conference - among other accomplishments! Check out more information on page 13 of
the 2015 newsletter below.
OK-LSAMP Students Conduct Research in France
Andres Guerrero Criado (first picture from the left) and Nicolas Means (second picture
from the left) traveled to France in February 2015 and conducted research throughout
the spring and summer. They will return to Oklahoma State University in August in
order to complete their BS degrees. Both are microbiology seniors.
OK-LSAMP Scholars participate in Summer 2014 iREU
Three OK-LSAMP Scholars selected to participate in a Summer 2014 international Research
Experience for Undergraduates (iREU). Keely Redhage and Amanda Mathias, OSU Scholars (pictured left), and Ashlie Walker, SWOSU Scholar (pictured right), are 3 of the 13 LSAMP Scholars from across the nation
selected for the program through Louisiana State University.
