at Oklahoma State University
Numerous events are scheduled to honor LGBTQ+ Pride Month at Oklahoma State University. The Office of Multicultural Affairs as well as various student organizations, colleges and campus units will be hosting programs.

Below is a list of events, programs and meetings in honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month at OSU. The University community is encouraged to send programs to be included on this list to Tyler Price, Coordinator of LGBTQ+ Affairs or Jillian McGee, Department of Brand Management. The list will be updated as more information is made available.
April 4 and 13
OUT in Industry

Worried about being out in your future career? Join us for a virtual panel with OSU alumni who are members of the LGBTQ+ community to hear their stories about being out in their industry.
April 6
Dragonfly
7 p.m. | Student Union Theater | Host/Contact: Student Union Activities Board
Come out and join us during OSU's Pride celebration to watch talented drag peformers put on a show based on this year's theme: Cirque du soleil! This event is free to attend and seating is general admission. it's going to be a whimsical experience you don't want to miss!
Pride Picnic
6 p.m. | Classroom Building Lawn | Host/Contact: Student Union Activities Board and Student Arts Alliance
Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month at OSU with the Student Arts Alliance and Student Union Activities Board in a chill way at our annual Pride Picnic, featuring live music by Chloe Moriondo. FREE dinner will be available for the first 250 people. Bring a blanket and settle in on Classroom Building Lawn from 6-8 p.m.

Big 12 LGBTQIA and Allies Summit

All LGBTQIA and allied community members who want to learn more about allyship, advocacy, and social justice are invited to attend the 6th annual Big 12 LGBTQIA & Allies Summit on April 14 - 15, 2023 at Texas Tech University and online in the Whova App. We invite students, higher education faculty and staff, working professionals, activists, and community members to present work related to this year's theme, “Light the way!”

Lavender Graduation
4:45 p.m. | Exhibit Room 2, Student Union | Host/Contact: Office of Multicultural Affairs and Oklahoma State Queers and Allies
Join us to celebrate the graduating LGBTQ+ students! RSVP online if you are graduating and would like to be honored at the ceremony. Faculty/Staff and other supporters should also RSVP at the link. Registered graduates in attendance will receive a rainbow cord to wear at graduation.
April 24
Student Safe Zone Training
5 p.m. | Exhibit Room 2, Student Union | Host/Contact: Office of Multicultural Affairs/Tyler Price
Students are invited to participate in this online training to learn about LGBTQ+ identities, gender and sexuality, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege. Upon completion, participants will receive a sticker to post designating their willingness to support LGBTQ+ individuals.

2nd Chance Prom

Bring who you REALLY want. Dress in your best prom attire and enjoy a safe, inclusive 2nd Chance Prom.
