Black History Month Speaker Series
OSU Faculty Featured
The Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Center for Africana Studies will present
a series of lunch-hour talks centered on Black migrations, the legacy of Nancy Randolph
Davis and the future of Black History Month.

Black History 101 Mobile Museum
Mobile museum to visit Stillwater campus on February 17
The Office of Multicultural Affairs, Student Union Activities Board and the Center
for Africana Studies will be bringing the Black History 101 Mobile Museum to campus
from 10a to 3p on Tuesday, March 9. The exhibit will be displayed in the Leadership
and Campus Life Lounge located on the second floor of the Student Union. Dr. Khalid
el-Hakim, founder, CEO and curator of the museum has over 7,000 artifacts ranging
from the trans-Atlantic slave trade to contemporary hip hop culture. The event is
free and open to the public.

Black History Month Digital Exhibit
At the OSU Library, you can read, watch, listen and explore thousands of items on
Black history. The Black History Month digital exhibit showcases recommendations from
four OSU students who share movies, books and more that have left an impact with them.

Celebrate Black Lives
The Celebrating Black Lives art will be displayed this month in the Orange Wall Art Gallery located in Student Union. All artwork was created by students at OSU and our branch campuses.
