Mr. & Miss Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant

The Mr. & Miss Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant occurs each year during the spring semester. The scholarship pageant program is open to all OSU undergraduate students.


History

The first Miss Asian OSU was crowned spring 2010 showcasing the heritage of various Asian cultures. In 2015, the Office of Multicultural Affairs staff added a new category to the existing royal lineup: the Mr. scholarship pageant. The Miss Asian OSU scholarship program expanded to include the Mr. Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant in spring 2016. The addition provided more students opportunities to win scholarships and celebrate and honor their cultures and traditions.

 

Mission

The mission of the Mr. and Miss Asian Oklahoma State University Scholarship Pageant is to further develop the leadership, confidence and creativity of students. The royals will positively advance the aims and objectives of the Asian American Student Association, represent Oklahoma State University and serve as role models and spokespersons for their respective communities.

Additional Information

 The Mr. & Miss Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant brings awareness to various Asian customs, exhibits regard to scholarship and service and celebrates the rich the heritage of Asian communities. 

Requirements 

Students interested in participating in the annual Mr. & Miss Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant must meet specific requirements at the time of application and the semester of the pageant.

Categories

The Mr. and Miss Asian OSU Scholarship Pageant consists of seven categories. Two pre-pageant categories and five on-stage competitions.  

Titleholder Description

The titleholders represent the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Asian American Student Association and Oklahoma State University
